ERISA Laws
Bear in mind as people begin to post in this category that ERISA laws (laws that regulate employee-sponsored benefits plans) can (with some execeptions covered under HIPPA law) exclude all diabetes coverage for a period of up to 12 months after you enroll in the insurance plan. If you take a job based on finding an insurance company that offers CGMS coverage, be sure to find out of the plan is ERISA-governed, and if you will still have to wait a year.
