Start a Forum thread for discussion purposes. Then, create a Wiki Page for documenting the factual information that the patient filling the claim needs in order to streamline the process (who did you talk to at the carrier? and what was their phone # or email address?) and ensure more successful claims.

BCBS Anthem of OH PPO
I have BCBS Anthem of OH PPO and they do pay for CGMS. I am starting the therapy soon.

George Colgett Has anyone had any luck with getting reinbursment through Kaiser?
Insurance on CGMS
My 5 year old daughter has been on the CGMS for 6 months. We bought the system saw how it work and decided to see if the insurance would pay for it (BCBS PPO). The response back was that they would not pay for it because it was not FDA approved for her (FDA approval for 7 or older). We could now go and get another appeal which is outside our insurance, but we have not done that yet.
cgms reimbursement
WE live in Missouri and have bc/bs ppo. We are trying to get "real time'coverage for our 2 children. Any help would be appreciated.
Medicare
I am on Medicare and would like to know if anyone has or is going to try to get Medicare to pay for CGMS in 08? Thanks, Linda
